Mayor David Miller To Seek Re-election

3 Mar

Mayor Miller will start campaign on Thursday

From the AJ:

Lubbock Mayor David Miller will formally announce his re-election campaign on Thursday.

The mayor will make the announcement at 11:30 a.m. at Shearer’s Food Lubbock, located at 3203 Avenue B.

Miller is seeking his second two-year term in office. Tom Martin, a former city council member, has already launched his campaign in the mayor’s race.

So I was wrong on this one. I had a feeling that Mayor Miller wouldn’t seek re-election since he did wait so long to announce. More on this later, but for now, I don’t think he has a chance.

    Oh, this should be good.

    Miller just go away!

Once all the facts are in, Mayor Miller will win easily. The other candidates are lap dogs, and we would be voting back into office old problems and trouble makers. Before you decide, become educated, look past what you have “heard” and know the facts.
